NEWTOWN CREEK POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT

The New Central Residuals Building is a key element of the transformation of New York City's largest wastewater plant into one of the nation's largest state-of-the-art treatment facilities.

The approximately 70,000-sqare foot steel and concrete structure will house fine secondary wastewater screens, sludge screens, grit-washing equipment, skimming concentration equipment and containers to collect all plant residuals for removal by truck.
